Myslbek Building

We were responsible for the interior design and permitting for the entrance lobbies and public spaces refurbishment of the signature landmark Myslbek building in the heart of Prague’s Old Town.

About Myslbek Building

A dramatic series of spaces have been created, building on the concept of the mechanical facade ‘gateway’ which dynamically moves and changes position throughout the day.

Sleek polished white surfaces are dramatically set against a black backdrop of the building itself. Subtle lighting inset in to the surface finishes visually connect to floating light sculptures, creating incredible reflections and a feel of ever changing space.

The design also incorporates beautiful tactile elements such as polished and textured concrete walls, living plant walls, and plush profiled ceilings.

The phased refurbishment included lobby spaces, office entrance zones, public conveniences and also the main entrance to the retail mall.

Visual connectivity with the adjacent streetscapes has dramatically enhanced the commercial and aesthetic qualities of the overall complex, revitalising the office and retail areas and giving the whole Myslbek complex a new lease of life.
