Upon commencement, we engaged with the local and

regional planning authorities, and led an extensive public consultation process where local residents were invited to open discussion forums to create the brief and vision for the overall complex.

 

The outcome was a new masterplan comprising 52,000m2 of new

residential apartments from studios to 4 bedroom duplexes, plus a new nursery school, wellness facility and local shops.

 

The heart of the new complex will be a dynamic public plaza which

connects and extends the surrounding urban structure. Local services such as shops and wellness facilities create a new urban streetscape, connecting a fully pedestrianised plaza to the nearby natural greenery.

 

The buildings are arranged in four phases, each phase benefiting from extensive private and semi-private gardens and parks, including a new wildlife pond which will act as a retention polder for rainwater collected from green roofs and hard surfaces.

 

The architecture is distinctly modern yet timeless, and incorporates

balconies, loggia or terraces for every apartment. Sunlight and daylight have been carefully considered, and views across the Michle valley form the heart of the conceptual planning approach.

A new tennis centre will be provided to the north of the site as a part of the overall masterplan, and a new nursery school will be built which is planned to be the first energy passive school in the Czech Republic.

 

Having successfully completed the new masterplan, buildings design  and rezoning, construction is planned to commence in 2026.
